This is part of the PDBA's grassroots development program that aims to establish dodgeball PE classes by:

1. Giving free seminars to PE teachers.
2. Donating a set of dodgeballs to PE departments.
3. Holding free campus wide/city wide dodgeball tournaments.

Based our now extensive experience, the PDBA is more convinced ever that dodgeball is an ideal addition to the PE curriculum.

Since the PDBA began in 2006, we have been actively promoting the sport of dodgeball in schools. Unfortunately during that time, nobody had really heard about dodgeball much less how to play it so we had our work cut out for us starting from scratch.

One of our greatest concerns was how to minimize the cost of giving seminars, dodgeballs, and games to the teachers and students. The answer was simply to find a sponsor. But as it turnes out finding sponsors who were willing to support an unknown developing sport that had no clear future was a bit too much for us to expect.

It has been 4 years since we set out to promote and develop dodgeball and out of sheer hard work, determination, and personal expense, we've taken dodgeball to a point where people are beginning to take notice and even want to play dodgeball on their own!

In addition to requests from schools to hold dodgeball games, we have begun to get a lot of inquiries about how to own a dodgeball which is why we sought to make dodgeball's available to the general public which we did! IDBF dodgeballs are now available in Tobys outlets nationwide!

We have found a generous sponsor, Nestle Pops Ice Cream who supports our dodgeball for PE program. With their support we've been able to send offers to schools without haveing any fear that we'd have to back out for lack of funding.

On a darker note, we've been approached by numerous individuals who are trying to ride the dodgeball bandwagon by proposing shady marekting schemes. Just as there are fake collectors, so in sports will there be groups who will use the promotion and development of a sport as an excuse to develop their own pockets. Kindly communicate directly with official PDBA officers to avoid getting misled as some people and even sponsors already have.

The PDBA has a lot of exciting plans, a lot, and they're all feasible and possible thanks to the friends we've made along the way! But we don't want to jinx (udlot in tagalog) ourselves by announcing them but rest assured, now that we've broken into the mainstream, we have more opportunities to promote the sport unlike in the old days when 9 out of 10 times either people have'nt heard of dodgeball or thought dodgeball was a made up sport in the movies.

There are so many ways you can support us, it can be as simple as signing up in our multiply or joining the Dodgeball for PE Movement fan page on FB or sponsoring the development of dodgeball in your school. We also welcome other long term partners who are willing to contribute to our PE program. We have invites from the provinces but as usual funding is currently an issue... but we have plans to bring dodgeball there soon..
