Because of an unexpected paperwork mishap the event became a Half-Day activity so we were only able to accomodate 12 teams :-( On the bright side, the students of La Salle took to dodgeball like ducks to water. We're really looking forward to doing a whole day activity with all 24 teams! (Ahem ahem) Dodgeball for PE... Inter La Salle Dodgeball Tournament (cough cough).

Thank you to everyone who husstled to make the necessary adjustments, and regrets to the teams who could not be accommodated, and to the outsider teams like the Androids who were too late to secure an entry permit. We really tried our best.

Congratulations to the Tankeros for taking 1st place and the PhP6,000 worth of gift certificates from Dickies. They gave us a really exciting Final by pulling off a last second win, literally a last second win, when one of their female members hit an unsuspecting male opponent during the final second of their match. One thing that stands out about this team is that they had about 4 female members and it was one of them who threw the ball that won the game! This goes to show that in Dodgeball, gender does'nt really matter. Unless you're built like Fran Stalinofskivitchdavitovichsky.

The Eclipse Gym Purple Cobras got off to a rough start in the eliminations but in the end they played their last 2 matches very well. They took 2nd place and the PhP4,000 worth of gift certificates from Dickies. This team is named the most photographed team because most of the pictures have them in the shot.

Team Ley La Salle A won over team Nestea-T to claim 3rd place and the PhP3,000 gift certificates from Dickies. Ley La Salle is a legal management organization. "If you can throw the book you can throw a ball" - Bene

Congratulations to the sole survivor of about 60 participants in the Last Man Standing Event: Mr. Jonathan Tabernero. Aside from taking home PhP2,000 gift certificates from Dickies he also has the honor of being the First Last Man Standing in the Philippines! Special mention to his team the Domino Diablos who earned them the respect of other teams due to their fair play.
