PDBA officers are the crazy people who dedicate tremendous amounts of time, effort, and personal money into making sure Dodgeball is properly developed in the Philippines. The PDBA is a member of the International Dodgeball Federation.

Bene is never his age to us. When he talks business, he's 30. When he gets grumpy, he's 64. When he's thinking of new things for PDBA, he's 23. And when he's talking about his personal life, he's 18. A mental case? No, not at all. Just my senpai, our big brother. And really, no Bene, no PDBA.

If not for Karen, the series of events leading up to how the PDBA was formed would never have happened. She has been a supporter of the PDBA since our humble beginnings and has recently taken on the task of lobbying for the PDBA's membership to the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC). From career advice to love advice to moral support to eating contests... win or lose it is always a pleasure to have Karen there.

The old saying about Big Surprises coming from small packages has never been so true. Punzai came out of nowhere and has enthusiastically given support to the PDBA in any and every possible way she can. So much so we even have to restrain her from refereeing or joining the logistics crew in setting up the court!

Punzai also manages to somehow perform the monumental task of keeping the PDBA President's sanity intact. This includes, sleepless nights of brainstorming and listening to random stories. She is accredited with coming up with the new PDBA logo.

Amost everyone who has played Dodgeball definitely knows this guy. Rowell has been with the PDBA since its 7th month when referees had no compensation and a lot of fine tuning had to be done to the PDBA rules. Yes, if you think officiating dodgeball is hard now, imagine how it was back then! In fact there was a time when he was the PDBA's only referee!

Able to officiate whole tournaments alone for 5-6 hours straight will make you see what a naturally talented referee this guy is. Either that or he has some screws lose in his head as nobody in their right mind would look forward to doing such a thing.

Talk about being with the PDBA from the start, Franley has been with the PDBA since its 2nd week! Despite being the youngest in our group he quickly mastered how to care for and setup dodgeball courts.

During the start of the PDBA there was little or no compensation for everyone and the PDBA was terribly undermanned. Franley would sometimes set up all by himself! The PDBA would not be where it is now without his contribution and dedication to our dream of having Dodgeball become a regular part of daily Philippine life.

Unfortunately his life came to an abrupt end in April of 2008. Everyone will miss his stories, crazy ideas, eagerness to assist and his good nature that allows him to get along with everyone he has met.
